Quincy University’s Music Department Choirs will present their Holiday Choral Concert on November 21 at 7 pm in St. Francis Solanus Chapel in Francis Hall on QU’s main campus.

The concert will feature an evening of music as the QU Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Hawks of Harmony sing songs in celebration of both Thanksgiving and Christmas including “We Gather Together,” “Mary Did You Know,” and “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” The choirs will also sing a few numbers that are nonseasonal like “Ballade to the Moon” and “The Girl from Ipanema.” A special feature of this program will be six student conductors –  Alanna Edgecomb, Hunter Hildebrand, Lora Launer, Adam Liesen, Katherine Marshall, and Raven Sweeney.

The choirs will perform under the direction of Jonathon Stewart, DMA, director of choral activities and associate professor of music. Laura Kammerer will be the accompanist.
